change of plan, folks...this temporary haitus of mine may go on longer than I anticipated...at the end of the week I originally planned to start working on the fanfic again, my dad needed me to go with him to help him conquer a 14 hour drive to Dallas, TX in one day...we needed to stay there for 3 days, not including the day drive to get there and another to get back...

and now...on Saturday, I'm going BACK to Texas with my best buddy Drew and his mom and dad. We're going to visit some of his friends and family there and hit Schlitterbahn for a day. I STILL can't believe he lived in Texas for several years and never went!

If there is someone out there reading this who HAS been to Schlitterbahn, just write "yo!" and the state you're from to me in a comment or something...I'm curious to see how far Schlitterbahn's reputation reaches...

If you haven't heard of Schlitterbahn, it's LITTERALLY the #1 waterpark in the entire world for I believe 12 years running...when I still lived in TX, I used to go every summer for my birthday...it's such a blast! I've been to Disney World, Disney Land, Six Flags (Fiesta Tx), and Dollywood, and Schlitterbahn is STILL my favorite place to go! if you haven't been, there are locations in New Brunfels(spelling?) TX which is like 20 minutes outside of San Antonio, a new location (which is like an hour from my old house, and opened shortly after I moved :angry in Padre Island, Tx; and from what I hear, a new location in Oklahoma will be opening in a few years...

Anyway, it's just totally awesome and if you ever get the chance, you should go! Admission is VERY well priced...it's only around like $30 a person, and you are free to bring your own food into the park. We used to bring a cooler every year. The only thing they ask is that you don't bring any glass bottles or I think alcohol into the park.

anyway...waaay off subject here !

I'll be in Texas for at least another week...and upon my return...believe it or not...I may have plans in the works for yet ANOTHER trip down to Texas...I was offered a wonderful position as a live-in nanny by a long time friend of ours near Dallas. I adore their two girls, and they adore me...heck, I adore their mom and dad too and they again also adore me XD. It's a win-win situation...I get food, board (in a HUGE house they just moved into a few days ago 0.o), a loving family, a paycheck, and easy access to a wide choice of collages in the area! I'm pretty sure I'll take the job offer...this is the busiest summer of my life already, and I'm not even 2 weeks out of high school yet!

so anyway, it'll be probably be around 2 more weeks before I can get back to fanfiction! I'll try to work on it on the road or something if my parents let me borrow the laptop...
